He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucia and Joseph Pusztay; and his siblings-in-law, Giacomo, Cesidia, Fernando, Elio and Dominic Chiota.

He is survived by: his wife Iva D'Amato; his children, Luciano, Julie, Claudio, Marianne, Nancy and Ed; his grandchildren, Natalie, Liborio, Michelle, Howard, Patricia, Justin, Anthony, Sarah, Danielle, Laura, Nicole, Jordan, Cassandra and Stella; his great grandchildren, William, Sophie, Paul, Eva, Nora, Archer, Elizabeth and Benjamin; his siblings, Mario Lancia and Rosaria; and his siblings-in-law, Giovanna Tristani, Vittorio Oddi, Iolanda Tristani, Anna Tristani, Irma, Rosario and Carmella Tristani. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, close friends, and relatives.
