He was predeceased by: his wife Tally; his brother Dante Pongetti; and his brother-in-law Gino (late Bev). He is survived by: his children, Peter (Stacey), Ron (Diana), Paul (Lynda) and Michele (Anne); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Nicholas, Michael, Amanda, Matthew, Christina, Claudia and Robbie; and his sisters-in-law, Anne (late Ray) and Joyce (late Ian). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A vigil service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lord Parish (280 Limeridge Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C2V2).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Good Shepherd Centres would be appreciated by the family.
