He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Ling and John Ling; and his siblings, Bernard and Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Michael, Amanda, Annette, Barry Bodo, Virginia and David Hewick; his sisters, Patricia Higenell and Mary Jane Ling; and his sibling-in-law Harv Campbell. He is also survived by animals, especially beagle dogs.
