He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Baker and Marcella Baker; and his sister Joy Abraham. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Paul, Wendy (Yeprem), Jonathan (Sara) and Gregory (Judy); and his grandchildren, Brittany (Michael), Alex, Alisha, Amelia, Beckham and Lily. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, his many nieces and nephews, his long time family friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. John's Parish Hall (37 Halson St, Ancaster, ON L9G2S3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to McMaster Children's Hospital or the St. Peter's Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
