Gemma (D'Alessio) Massarella Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gemma (D'Alessio) Massarella (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Guido Massarella; her children, Josephine Massarella and Vincent Massarella; and her parents, Giovanni D'Alessio and Lucia Padula.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Massarella and Dana Randall (George); her grandchildren, Adrian McManus (Letty Coral), Felix Werth (Chia-Hsuan Chen), Daniel Randall (Camilla Givens), Emily Massarella and Ariana Randall (Dan Pierroz); and her sisters-in-law, Graziella Massarella, Eva D'Alessio and Francesca D'Alessio. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Society of the Little Flower (Our Lady of Mount Carmel) Hamilton Health Sciences, or to Mission Services of Hamilton.
