With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Kyprianou (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene (Leni). He is survived by: his sons, Nick Kyprianou (Lorna) and Andreas Kyprianou (Laurie); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Maddy, Jack and Max; his great-nephew Alex Giannakis; his friend George; and his caregiver Anselma Farjardo (Emma).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A vigil service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (22 Head St, Hamilton, ON L8R1P9). A burial was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Hamilton Cemetery (260 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9B1C3).
