George Austin Ross Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 1, 2026, at the age of 91, George Austin Ross (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Hilda; his siblings, Donald Jr. (Betty), Marguerite (Thomas) and David (Barbara); and his parents-in-law, Carmelo and Rosa Bartolotta.

He is survived by: his children, Christine, Kevin (Cindy), Janet (George) and Stephen (Patricia); his grandchildren, Gord (Beth), Natalie (Ryan), Ashleigh (Cale), Shannon (Rob), Heather (Trent), Carleigh (Levi), Austin (Ali), Spenser and Kit; his sister Karen Schmid (late Frank); his brothers-in-law, Greg (Angie) and Sam (Christine); his wife Clara; Clara Ross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation in George's honour.
