He was predeceased by: his parents, David McLean and Marie McLean. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Giles (Gerald), Donna Snyder (Rick Byron), Scott (Jane), Paul (Tammy) and Greg (Paulina Araujo); his grandchildren, Amy Ormrod, Ryan Giles, Ryan McLean, Michelle Russell, Alaina Camirand, Becca Snyder, Michael Snyder, Evelyn, Maggie, Lucas, Josh, Ashlyn, Cole, Leah, Upon, Gerry and David Snyder; his sister Colleen Simpson; Sheila MacIsaac. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home - Ancaster Chapel (90 Garner Rd E, Ancaster, ON L9G3K9).
