He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Stephan and Esther Stephan; his sister Isabel; his brother-in-law Andrew Masrobian; his brother Vernon; his sister-in-law Dorothy; his parents-in-law, Mike and Marianna Fazio; Larry and Albert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son Derek; and his brother-in-law John Fazio (late Marylynn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 4:45 PM to 5:15 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Parish (304 Hwy 8, Stoney Creek, ON L8G1E6). A burial was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery (681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek, ON L8J3B8).
