He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Romano and Francesca Romano. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Romano; his children, Pat, Marcello and Maurizio (Carina Lochan Romano); and his siblings, Gaetana Bontempo (late Luciano), Maria Bontempo (Philip), Vincenzo Romano and Grace Ferro (Tony). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (120 Sherman Ave N, Hamilton, ON L8L6M6). A burial was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
