The memory of Giuseppina (Ippolito) Giancani (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her spouse Nicolo Giancani; her parents, Luigi Ippolito and Giuseppina Ippolito; her parents-in-law, Tommaso and Alfonsa Giancani; and her siblings, Giuseppe (Angela Billone), Maria (Salvatore Campanella), Calogera Ippolito (Lilla), Enrica Ippolito of Modica Sicily, Salvina D'Alberto, Giovanni D'Alberto and Zia Maria Cino.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommaso and Luigi; her daughter-in-law Debbie; her grandchildren, Nick (Sonja), Josie (Rob) and Isabel; her siblings, Graziella (Francesco Cannizzaro) and Concetta Ippolitto; and her siblings' children, Luigi and Concetta. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Anthony's of Padua Church (165 Prospect St N, Hamilton, ON L8L6X8). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
