He was predeceased by: his brother Donald (Florence). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kelly Herd (Cal) and Tom Cooper (Sue); his grandchildren, Lindsey Herd, Mike Iley, Jason Herd (Anca), Brent Herd, Adam Herd, Ryan Herd, Jeffrey Cooper (Destinee Taylor), Chris Cooper (Chelsea) and Renae Cooper; and his brother Ken (Beverly). He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
