He was predeceased by: his parents, Erika Devins and Mel Devins; his brother Dale; his sister-in-law Maureen; and his in-laws, Ray and Mollie Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Adrienne; his daughters, Sandra (Scott), Renée (Rob) and Beth (Barry); his grandchildren, Christina, Nathan, Jessica, Ewan and Dylan; and his sibling Harv (Rose). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Hal was also a founding member of the charity Canadian Friends of Hôpital Albert Schweizter – Haiti.
