She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Maher; and her son David Vella. She is survived by: her sons, Bob Vella (Charlene) and Ron Vella (Lisa); her grandchildren, Steven, Justine, Bethany (Tom), Bobby, Gabrielle and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Lexis, Kailey and Lola. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.

Donations in Helen's memory can be made to the Salvation Army or Mission Services.
