It is with sadness that the passing of Helen Resz (Hamilton, Ontario) is shared. Helen, born on December 17, 1931, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tony; her sister Margaret; and her siblings-in-law, Helene, Katharina and Karl.
She is survived by: her daughter Ilona; and her extended family, Bill, Betty, Agnes, Helen and Bob (Liz).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel Ltd. (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen's of Hungary Church (130 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2W4). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or St. Stephen of Hungary Church.
