It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida (Spadafora) Paone (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Francesco Paone; her daughter Virginia; her parents, Giuseppe Spadafora and Raffaella Spadafora; her mother-in-law Virginia Paone; her siblings-in-law, Giuseppe, Rosa Paone, Gina Paone, Natalina, Rita Paone, Rosina and Francesco Saverio Paone; and her siblings, Marietta (Stanislau Cosco), Emilia (Pietro Filice), Laura (Luigi Piccirillo), Gennaro (Maria Spadafora), Umberto (Carmela Spadafora), Assunta (Santo Fiorino), Carmela Spadafora, Giovanni Spadafora, Nicodemo Spadafora, Pasquale Spadafora and Amedeo Spadafora.

She is survived by: her children, Pam, Leo, Gisella and Maria; her grandchildren, Kristy (Marcus), Hayley, Brock (Danielle), David (Alyssa), Talia (Christian) and Anita (Zachary); her brothers-in-law, Leonardo Femia and Francesco Curcio; and her sisters, Virginia (Mario Marrazzo) and Barbara (Alfonso Cherubin). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
