With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iole Marie Tofano (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on January 11, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mario Tofano; her parents, Vito Michelangelo and Rosaria Michelangelo; and her siblings, Lucia Gagliardi (late Vittorio) and Agata Tofano (late Felice).
She is survived by: her children, Reno, Diane, Joe, Raffaella, Frank, Sylvia, Rose and Jeff Morton; her grandchildren, Adriana, Jason (Avery), Cristina, Jeffrey (Emelia), Melissa, Victor, Michael, Lindsay (Ava), David, Andrea (Luca), Daniela, John, Amanda, Scott (Liam) and Jessica; and her siblings, Antoinetta Villani (Panfilo) and Domenic (Sheila Michelangelo). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In kindness, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
