Irene Lohwinow Obituary

We announce the death of Irene Lohwinow (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 101. Irene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Irene will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Irene’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Basil Lohwinow; and her children, George and Lucy. She was also cherished by her extended family, dear friends, neighbours, and former coworkers.
