Joan Elizabeth MacDougall Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Elizabeth MacDougall (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great grandchildren, Caden and Bryson Curtis; her parents, Vern Maxwell and Pauline Maxwell; and her brothers, Tom and Bruce Maxwell.

She is survived by: her husband David MacDougall; her daughters, Dianne Hicks (Rob Hicks) and Cathy Leeming (Bob Leeming); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Hicks (Jonah Tassie), Rebecca Hicks (Jeremy Parsons), Brittany Hicks (John Curtis), Ryan Leeming (Katie Shaughnessy) and Alexandra Leeming; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle, Rosalie Tassie, Genevieve Parsons and Emilia Leeming.
