With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Elzinga (Hamilton, Ontario). Joan, born on August 15, 1937, passed away on July 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Elzinga; her children, Edward (Nancy), Deanna (Ted Boomsma), Melanie (Steve Flokstra), Jonathan and Randy (Helen Xu); her parents, Edward Crans and Clara Crans; and her siblings, Shirley Schotsman, Jack and Wayne.
She is survived by: her brothers, Charles, Don and Henry. She is also survived by her relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to either the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton or Hamilton District Christian High School in Ancaster would be greatly appreciated.
