It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Leonard Ferreira (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joel Leonard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Becky; his children, Ashley and Caleb (Nicole); his grandchildren, Silas and Sienna; and his siblings, Jeff (Carolyn) and Jennifer Kirkpatrick (Mike). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the West Highland Baptist Church (1605 Garth St, Hamilton, ON L9B1X8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
