John Babic Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Babic (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Frida Babic; and his brother Stan (late Pepsa). He is survived by: his son John; and his sister Silva Košir.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home (36 Lake Ave Dr, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Church (125 Centennial Pkwy N, Hamilton, ON L8E1H8).
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to any charitable organization supporting the ongoing fights against cardiovascular disease, cancer and kidney disease would be appreciated.
