He was predeceased by: his wife Danuta Bortolussi Bortolussi; his parents, Mario Bortolussi and Laura Bortolussi; and his sister Adele Brazzoni (Ottorino). He is survived by: his children, Robert, Kevin, Christopher (Christina), Tracy-Lynn and Sandy-Lynn; his grandchildren, Hayden, Jayda and Noah; his siblings, Maria McStravick (Jim) and Joe (Karen); and his extended family, Jeanie Bennici (Vito), Richard Dulewicz and Stephanie Fuller (Andrew). He is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home (7 East Avenue S, Hamilton, ON L8N2T3). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (440 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8N1C6).
