It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Martin (Hamilton, Ontario), born in Val Rita, Ontario, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Guillaume Martin and Marie Rose Martin; and his child Jamie Martin. He is survived by : his siblings, Irene Tourville (late Ed), Marcel Martin, Jeannette Cole (Clarence), Roland Martin (Lise) and Raymond Martin (Chantal); his children, Candisse Turner (late Ray), Jeff Martin (Rhonda), Kim Meunier (Clem), Tracy Comtois (Fern), Cassie Baxter, Rachelle Palladino (Nick) and Debbie-Lynn Breau (Mike); and his friend Louise Joslin. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Church (440 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8N1C6).
