He was predeceased by: his mother Marjory; and his parents-in-law, Raffale and Carmela Fabiano. He is survived by: his wife Mina; his father Doug Paddon; his siblings, Paul Paddon (Cindy) and Melissa Dawson (Greg); his siblings-in-law, Maria Watson (Dave), Lou Fabiano and Rita Fabiano; and his siblings' children, Jack, Miles, Rachel, Stefan, Alexandra, Adam, Andrew, Eve, Clare and Grace.

In memory of John, memorial contributions to an education fund for his sons would be appreciated by the family.
