“So sad to hear of John’s passing. John Kidd has a special place in the hearts of the Appleby family. John’s kindness to us when we left England for Montreal was quite remarkable. He did so much for us as new arrivals and yet a ThankYou was all he asked for. John and I were coworkers in England and it was he during a visit that he convinced me that Canada presented more opportunities for me than the UK.. Our prayers go out to his family. We know he will be sadly missed.”
