He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl and Natalia. He is survived by: his children, Zenon and Jack; his siblings, Mary Anne (Sean), Lesia (Roman) and Ray (Marta); his siblings' children, Breanna, Niall (Julie), William, Nicholas (Lindsay), Taras (Jen) and Mark (Kristen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikaela and Emily.
