Jorge Couto Obituary
We bid farewell to Jorge Couto (Hamilton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 23, 2025 at the age of 72. Jorge touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lucia Couto (Basim), Patricia Bairos (Marcio) and Margarida Couto; his grandchildren, Claudia, Marques, Samir and Nikal; and his siblings, Gabriel, Dimas, Tereza, Maria of Lurdes, Luzia, Idalina and Jonas. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7). An entombment will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (580 Old York Rd, Burlington, ON L7P4Y6).
