He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Estrela (Mariano), Mario (Isabel), Emanuel (Alice), Jose Carlos and Joana; his grandchildren, Claudia, Tiago, Catarina, Andre, Mario Jason, Justin, Christopher, Allison, Erika, Andrew and Amelia; and his great grandchildren, Goncalo, Alexander, Daniel and Constança.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery (681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek, ON L8J3B8).
