He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; and his parents, Vincenzo (Jimmy) and Assunta (Susy). He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl (Dan), Denise (Gavin) and Jo-Ann (Martin); his grandchildren, Erin, Grace, Mya (Domenic), Max, Everett and Dani; his brother James Mattina (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Joe, Irene, Barbara, Ann Marie and Philip. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish (125 Picton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L4X3).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hamilton Health Science Foundation.
