He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Dove and Harold Dove; and his siblings, Irene Cherniuk (Bill) and Harold Dove. He is survived by: his husband Lucy; his children, David (Bruna) and Gary (Linda); his grandchildren, Mike Dove (Cheryl), Brendan Dove and Brian Dove; his great grandchildren, Jenna Dove and Julia Dove; his sisters, Rita (Tom Bland) and Margaret Doreen Bailey (late Russ); his sisters-in-law, Cath Dove and Tillie Tozer; and also Joe Bass.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Good Shepherd Centers would be appreciated by the family.
