With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Mattei (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 26, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Mattei to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his son Michael Mattei; his parents, Francesco Mattei and Maria Bambina Mattei; his brothers, Tony Mattei, Chris Mattei and Peter Mattei; and his siblings-in-law, Dominic Nigro, Mary Mattei, Antonina Mattei and Elena Mattei.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; his son Peter Mattei (Laura Commisso); his grandchildren, Michael, Joseph and Madeleine; and his siblings, Zelinda Nigro, Flora Vecchiarelli (Guilio) and Guerino Mattei. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Joseph Mattei can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
