It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Michael Beattie (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Janet, Euphemia, Jemima, Irene, Famie, James, John, George, Steven and David.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Denise (Rick), Mike (Kristine) and Chris; his grandchildren, Samantha (Nick), David, Eric, Matthew, Liam, Christian and Max; his mother-in-law Anna; his siblings, Duncan (Rena), Edward (Inez), Tom and Anna (Bern); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara and Joan (Malcolm). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made, in Joseph's memory, to the Bob Kemp Hospice.
