He was predeceased by: his parents, Diego Rallo and Antonia Rallo; his wife Louise Holwerda; his daughter Patricia; and his siblings, Lillian, Mary, Isabelle, Jack and Frank.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dustin (Ciara Day) and Rebecca (Daniel Strang); his great grandchildren, Macauley and Brooke Strang; his son Joe; and his brother Charlie (Joan Macartney). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Knights of Columbus or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
