He was predeceased by: his parents, Mihael Marinic and Zdenka Marinic; and his brother Josip. He is survived by: his wife Nadia; his children, Zvonimir (Angelina), Patricia (Rob), Alexandra (Mike) and Erik (Tiia); and his grandchildren, Martin, Elin, Rhiannon, Samuel and Aaron.
