We are sad to announce that, on May 3, 2026, at the age of 79, Karen Kathleen Smith (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Karen may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Titko and Vi Titko; her sister Janet Fraser (Jim) of Hamilton; her nephew Robert James Lumsden (Christina) of Hamilton; her niece Kara Jan Spring of British Columbia; her great-nephews, Oshi, Jemiah, Phoenix and Gabriel; and her friend Barb.
