She was predeceased by: her parents, James McKechnie and Bernice McKechnie; and her siblings, Jim McKechnie and Cathy Rielly. She is survived by: her children, Corrie (Chris), Katie and Scott (Danielle); the father of her children Bob Walker; her granddaughter Makenna; and her siblings, Terry Hamelin (Mark), Maureen Ellis (Lorne), Ian McKechnie and Alex McKechnie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel.
