As Laura departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Laura may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Laura leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Kotyk; her children, Constance Scanlan (Les), Carole Ann Farnsworth (Wayne) and Douglas Kotyk; and her grandchildren, Amber (Kevin), Shane (Destinee), Tamara (Codey) and Lorne (Jessie).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the The Salvation Army Mountain Citadel (835 Stone Church Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W1R8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J3).
