He was predeceased by: his mother Lena; his wife Dawn (Heidman); and his sister Laura (late Steve). He is survived by: his father Giovanni (John); his children, Cheryl and Tom; his granddaughters, Melissa and Annette; his great grandchildren, August and Iverson; and his siblings, Jim (Terry), Mimi (Gord) and Tony (late Irene). He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to The Alzheimer's Society or Humane Society.
