“Dearest Bouwman family, was shocked and very sad to hear that my friend Lee had passed away. I knew him briefly in my younger days and he was something else. I always respected him as he was such a great person. The type that stood up for you but would knock you down a peg or two if he felt you deserved it. I know he out me in my place a few times. Even though he was huge and intimidating, I always saw a gentle giant. He was great with my kids, so when I heard he now had a child of his own, I thought, what a blessing! I know he will be missed by so many. I feel blessed to have know him and been a small part of a great mans life. May you find comfort in the blessings and joy that he has added to your lives. May God be with you always. Sincerest condolences.”
