He was predeceased by: his wife Olive Gilliland (Ollie); his daughter Susan; and his siblings, George, Eleanor, Thelma and Lily.

He is survived by: his sons, Len (Marj) and Ron (Laurie); his grandsons, Allan (Riley) and Bradley (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Coast, Oaks and Casey; and his brother Howard.
