With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leopoldina Penedos (Hamilton, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leopoldina left this world on June 17, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Leopoldina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leopoldina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Alberto Penedos; her children, Ana Maria (Peter) and Albert (Andrea); her grandchildren, Julia (Tom), Emily, Rayal and Ryan; and her great grandchild Marco. She is also survived by nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home, Robinson Chapel (15 West Avenue N, Hamilton, ON L8L5B9). A prayer will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
