As we bid Leticia Mercado farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Leticia Mercado is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Timoteo Mercado Sr. and Anacleta Domingo; and her brothers, Manuel and Timoteo Jr. Leticia. She is survived by: her husband Armando; and her children, James (Becky), Neal (Charissa) and Michelle (Jared). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Garnier Parish (129 Hughson St S, Hamilton, ON L8N2B3).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a memorial donation to be made to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
