Ljubica Jagusic Obituary

The memory of Ljubica Jagusic (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dragen Poljak and Katica Poljak; and her siblings-in-law, Drago Jagusic, Mike Jagusic, Joe Jagusic (Ana), Kata Bersinic (Toma), Barka Baric (Ivan), Andelka Jefak (Ivan) and Maca Zvonar (Ludvig).

She is survived by: her spouse Slavko; her children, Peter Jagusic and Fanika Jagusic; her sibling Miko Poljak (Mira) of Croatia; her friends, Nikola and Milka Cule of Vancouver; and her pet Jamie. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1S9). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Joseph's Health Foundation, the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation (Hamilton General Hospital) or Holy Cross Croatian Church, would be appreciated by the family.
