It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loreta Rea (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Loreta leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Loreta may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Claudio; and her siblings, Attilio, Ernesto, Natale and Filomena.
She is survived by: her children, Ben and Anna Rea; and her siblings, Maria (Donato) and Louisina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
