She was predeceased by: her mother Bernice Viola Simmons (Boniface); her brother Charles Simmons (Donna) of Guelph; her granddaughter Hilary Granger; her siblings, William, Danny, Leonard Simmons and Wendy Vine; and her father Lewis Simmons.

She is survived by: her daughter Lorraine; her friend Lorraine; her husband Donald; her children, Ellen Bloomfield (Vaughan) of Brampton, Bobbi Ann Lail (Andy) of London, Kerry Huehn (Reg) of Fergus, Patricia Catto of Saskatchewan, Monica Catto of Mississauga, Philip Catto of Hanover and Lewis Catto (Sarah) of Tara; her siblings, Clifford Simmons of London and Irene Kelly of Hamilton; Kerry and Philip. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Tara United Church, Saugeen Hospice Inc., or to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
