It is with great sadness that we announce the death of MacFarlane Mitchell Fancey (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mildred Jane Doreen; his children, Dale (late Eleanor), Paul (Patricia Munt), Laura Fraleigh (Tyler) and Russell Douglas (Andrea); his grandchildren, Bryan (Teresa), Kevan (Desiree), Sean, Cameron (Brenda), Jamie, Carly (Jesse), Tyson (Gabrielle), Greg (Joanne) and Nicole (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Nora, Catherine, Lauren, Leif, Gabe, Vincent, Marlee, Shelby, Conor and Sophie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Anglican Church (157 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Grace Anglican Cemetery (157 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Holiday Inn (3063 S Service Rd Building 2, Burlington, ON L7N3E9).
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
