She was predeceased by: her spouse Alcide Bourgois; her daughter Denise Wikis (late Thomas); her parents, Zoel Gauthier and Albina Gauthier; and her sister Gertrude Landry (late Alzear).
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorraine Potticary (Terrance) and Marilyn Harrison (Kenneth); and her grandchildren, Michel LaPointe, Marsha LaPointe (Stephane Paulin), Samantha LaPointe-Cyr (Mario Cyr), Jennifer Harrison, Jason Harrison and Jeffrey Harrison (Amy). She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeleine's memory can be made to Alzheimer Society.
