Miriam Ridge wrote a sympathy message

“I knew Mair from Central Secondary school when she sometimes played for us girls in the "Centralettes", our triple trio. She was also a fellow camper at Ryerson Beach Camp during the late 1940's and early 1950's. She and i went back to Ryerson Camp when they had their celebration in 2002. Occasionally she payed the organ as a substitute organist at the church I attended. I always enjoyed her company. Not having any children of her own she was very fond of and often spoke of her nieces.”
