He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Herbert and Elsa; and his sisters, Dorthea and Rosemary.

He is survived by: his children, Karen, Douglas, Susan, Mark and Samantha; his grandchildren, Anthony, Amy, Brandon, Corey, Aaron, Katlyn, Isaac and Bradley; his great grandchildren, Tina, Zack, Natasha, Chelsea, Nicholas, Hailey, Brooke, Jacob, Ruth and Analeia; and his great great grandchild Atlas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
